Chef Philippe Chevalier is a world-class culinary artist whose passion for exquisite cuisine has earned him a loyal following among esteemed clientele. With over 20 years of experience in the kitchen, Philippe has worked as a private chef for Oprah, along with other celebrities and high-net-worth individuals. His attention to detail, creativity, and commitment to excellence make every dining experience both intimate and extraordinary.


Born in Vendée, France, Philippe grew up in a world where the appreciation of good food was a natural part of life. As the son and grandson of Atlantic fishermen, he developed an early understanding of the origin of food and a deep respect for fresh, natural ingredients. Inspired by his Cordon Bleu-trained grandmother, he left home at age 14 to immerse himself in culinary training. After graduating at the top of his class, Philippe moved to Paris, where he headed kitchens in Michelin-starred establishments and became Executive Chef at the remarkably young age of 27.


Since leaving Paris, Philippe has enjoyed an award-winning career in renowned culinary destinations such as St. Tropez, St. Barthélemy, and San Francisco. He found acclaim as the Chef/Owner of CHEVALIER, his own high-end French restaurant in Lafayette, California, which earned seven Michelin Bib Gourmand awards and became a beloved fine-dining destination.


Today, Chef Philippe brings his unmatched experience and refined artistry to private events, offering one-of-a-kind culinary experiences that combine his French heritage, global influence, and uncompromising dedication to quality.
